Hey everyone I hope you are doing well. Let me tell you a little bit about me. I am a stay at home mother that loves to do all kinds of crafts. I am mother to 7 kids and Memaw to 11 grandbabies. A wife to a wonderful husband that is a truck driver. All together they are my whole world. I am a born again Christian, that believes that God is still the King and creature of this world.
Being a stay at home mom has allowed me to create and do a lot of crafting. I started crocheting over 20 years ago. A neighbor showed me how to make granny squares and I have not stopped since then. I learned how to read patterns and watched YouTube videos to learns stitches. I love crocheting a lot.
About 10 years ago I decided I wanted to learn to knit, so I was at my local Hobby Lobby store one day, I spend a lot of time there, LOL. So I seen these ladies sitting at the front of the store knitting. I ask and they told me that they meet there every 2 weeks and I was welcome to join. My first knitting project was a dishcloth, "Grandma's Favorite Dishcloth". Again after going to a few meetings I was up and going on my own.
Quilting came from friends that quilted and talked me into joining and learning. I have dabbled in a few other things, like painting, wood burning, jewelry making, diamond painting, ect.
I just love creating. I love the look on a friend or family members face when they open a homemade gift. There is nothing like receiving a gift that someone spent their own time to create just for you.
With this blog I hope to create and share with everyone a little bit of the things I am making. And some of the things I enjoy in life. Please share my page with others. Join my members list so that you can get updates when new post are made. I want to start Forums for learning, we maybe learning together lol.
I would like to do some CALs, KALs, and maybe even a QAL. I have a couple patterns I have created that I will be sharing here also.
If I can help you with anything craft wise please let me know, I also enjoy teaching others what I have learned.
